The Lymphatic Drainage Suit is a specially designed garment that uses advanced compression to gently massage different areas of the body. This flushes out excess toxins, fluids and waste products that have accumulated due to lack of movement.
The Lymphatic Drainage Compression suit uses controlled air pressure to manually move extra cellular fluid through the lymphatic system. People who use this therapy may experience the following:
● Help with the elimination of toxins and infections from the body
● Reduction in volume around the waist, thighs, legs and arms
● Faster Athletic recovery from sore muscles
● Reduction in the appearance of cellulite, varicose veins and bloating.
● Overall feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation
The lymphatic system is often described as the sewerage system of the body as it is responsible for the micro filtration of extra cellular fluid and the removal of toxins and infections. Made up of lymph vessels and lymph nodes, the lymphatic system is a primary part of the immune system which helps keep us healthy on a daily basis.
Unlike the cardio vascular system which has 2 pumps (heart and lungs), your lymphatic system doesn’t have any pumps, so your lymph only moves when you move. The lymphatic compression suit has 24 different air pressure cells which when activated in the right sequence, creates a pressure gradient that encourages the interstitial fluids to move through the lymph system. The lymph nodes then filter and help remove toxins before clean lymph gets recycled back into the blood stream as clean blood plasma.
The therapy is extremely relaxing and rejuvenating. It is also quite slimming as participants can often measure a reduction in volume around their waist, arms and legs due to the removal of excess fluid from the tissues.
Laser hair removal is a safe and effective procedure. Diode Laser uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to treat unwanted hair. The diode laser targets the pigmentation in the hair follicle. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth. Using light selective absorption, the laser has 2 performances on targeted and surrounding areas. The heat and energy work on the follicle, destroying the areas where the hair is produced. The surrounding tissues will not be harmed. We need multiple treatments for laser hair removal because of the differential hair regrowth cycles.
●Safe ●Smooths the skin and gives a more even appearance ●Fast ●Painless
Hair grows in continuous cycles. The growth phase of hair contains the largest amounts of melanin and this phase is the laser’s target. Most clients will require a minimum of 6 treatments. Finer hair and clients with darker skin, may require 6-10 treatments. If you suffer from a hormone imbalance your treatments may be ongoing. To have effective treatments it is imperative that they be sequenced appropriately, one month apart.
The Diode 808 Laser is the gold standard in Permanent Hair Removal and is suitable on all pigmented hair and skin types—including tanned skin. For darker skin types appropriate fluencies (energy levels) are generally lower and appropriate pulse widths (duration of exposure) are generally longer addition with the cooling touch system to prevent damage to the epidermis.
●Stop plucking / waxing / threading the area. Instead, start shaving the area of intended treatment 4 - 6 weeks prior to starting with laser hair removal. This is so that we can treat the active hair follicles.
●Avoid self-tan / tanning beds for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
●Inform us of any medications you are on prior to scheduling your appointment
●Shave the area the night before your appointment.
●Ensure there are no products such as cream or deodorant on the area of treatment at the time of your appointment.
●Only Shave. Any other form of hair removal may result in reversing the treatment undertaken.
●Wait at least 4-5 days before you shave again.
●Avoid all UV rays (both Sun and Artificial) and wear UV protection in the weeks that follow treatment if you are going to be exposed to UV rays.
●Avoid applying cosmetics to the treated area for 24 hours
●Wear loose clothing
●Avoid Hot water for 24 hours
●Lightly exfoliate the treated area three to five days following treatment
●Do not scratch or rub the treated area. If itchy or irritated, apply Aloe Vera to help alleviate these symptoms.
